Tour Overview
Dear Skiers, we invite you to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for a fantastic week of skiing. It will be a memorable experience as you ski in the best resorts of Central Asia. We will start our trip in Almaty, visiting top attractions such as the Central Museum of History, Central Square, Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, and Green Bazar.
Our first ski destination is Shymbulak, Kazakhstan’s most famous ski resort, located in the upper part of Medeo Valley. It features three ski lifts with the highest point reaching 3200 meters, ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers.
The next stop is Kyrgyzstan, where you’ll visit the capital city Bishkek before heading to Karakol in the Issyk-Kul Region. En route, you’ll explore Burana Tower and Petroglyphs. Karakol Ski Base, situated 7 km from the town at an altitude of 3040 m, is surrounded by stunning winter scenery, promising an unforgettable vacation.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day - Almaty Airport
Meet the group at Almaty airport. Transfer to the hotel to rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Almaty: visit the History Museum, Central Square, Panfilov Park with Zenkov Cathedral, and Green Bazar. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Almaty
After breakfast, transfer to Medeo Gorge. At the ski resort, meet with a professional ski guide for a briefing and equipment check. Enjoy free time for skiing. Lunch at the ski resort and dinner at a restaurant in Almaty. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Almaty – Issyk Gorge – Bishkek
After breakfast, drive to the ski resort for skiing and snowboarding. After lunch, visit the “Sunkar” falcon farm to watch the Falcon hunting show. Then, drive to Almaty airport for the flight to Bishkek. Meet the group at Bishkek airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek – Karakol
After breakfast, drive to Karakol, the administrative center of the Issyk-Kul region. En route, visit Burana Tower and the ruins of Ancient Balasagyn (X-XII centuries) and Petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata. Arrival in Karakol, overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Karakol Ski Resort
After breakfast, enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Karakol Ski Resort, located in the picturesque Tien-Shan Mountain Range. A cableway is available to reach the top and enjoy the charming nature. Optional helicopter tour for skiing and snowboarding.
Day 6: Karakol – Bishkek
After breakfast, enjoy free skiing. Lunch at a local restaurant in Karakol and then transfer back to Bishkek. Dinner at a local restaurant in Bishkek. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure Day
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
