Itinerary of the trip:

Day 1 TASHKENT-CHERNYAEVKA- CHYMKENT (125 KM, 2-3 HRS)
Arrive at Tashkent. Meet the group and transfer to Uzbek-Kazakh border “Chernyaevka”. After border formalities drive to Chymkent. Upon arrival lunch in local café. Visit Historical Museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


Day 2 CHYMKENT-TURKESTAN-CHYMKENT (395 KM, 6-7 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Turkestan. En route visit Otrar Ruins. Lunch at local café. After lunch visit Khodja Ahmed Yassawi. The Mausoleum of Khodzha Akhmed Yassawi the first Turkic Muslim holy man, who died in 1166 and was buried with great honors in a small mausoleum. The Great Timur (Tamerlan) ordered a far grander mausoleum at the end of 14th century and is said to have participated himself. The magnificent complex is a good example of architectural drafts. Drive back to Chymkent. Dinner and overnight in hotel.


Day 3 CHYMKENT-BISHKEK (480 KM, 8-9 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Bishkek. On the way visit Babadzha Hatum and Aisha-Bibi mausoleums. Lunch en route. On the way stop near the Taraz River in Taraz. Upon arrival in Bishkek dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in guest house.


Day 4 BISHKEK-ISSYK-KUL (254 KM, 4-5 HRS)
After breakfast visit Ala-Too square, Panfilov Park, History Museum. After lunch in local restaurant drive to Issyk-Kul. The Issyk-Kul Lake is located in Issyk-Kul valley surrounded by the Kungey Ala-Too and Terskey Ala-Too mountainous ranges. Dinner and overnight in hotel.


Day 5 ISSYK-KUl-KARAKOL (145 KM, 2-3 HRS)
After breakfast Boat cruise in Issyk-Kul Lake, then drive to Karakol. On the way visit Museum of Przhevalski, Orthodox Church and Dungan Mosque. After lunch at local café drive back to Issyk-Kul. Visit History Museum in Cholpon-Ata. Dinner and overnight in guest house.


Day 6 ISSYK-KUL-BISHKEK (304 KM, 5-6 HRS)
Morning visit Cholpon-Ata Petroglyphs, after excursion drive to Bishkek. On the way visit Burana Tower, an open-air museum built in the 11th century, and Ak-Beshim Ruins. Upon arrival dinner in local restaurant in Bishkek. Overnight in guest house.


Day 7 BISHKEK-ALMATY (250 KM, 4-5 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Almaty via Kyrgyz-Kazakh border “Ak-Jol” (Kordai). Lunch at local restaurant in Almaty. Then sightseeing of Almaty. Visit Historical Museum, Museum of National Instruments with mini concert and Panfilov Park. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.


Day 8 DEPARTURE DAY ALMATY-TASHKENT (flight)
After breakfast drive to airport for flight by HY to Tashkent to the capital of Uzbekistan. Arrive in Tashkent by HY from Almaty. Sightseeing of Tashkent: visit Old Tashkent and Kukeldash Madrassah, three renewed domes – reconstructed city’s chief Friday Mosque, named after Khodja Akhrar (1404-1490) – Chief Sheikh of powerful Sufic order of Naqshbandi. Afterward drive to Kukcha district and visit the oldest architectural Islamic monument in Tashkent – Mausoleum of Zaynutdun Bobo. Also visit Khast Imam Square – the holy heart of Tashkent and the least Russified or Sovietized part of the city – consisting of Barak Khan Madrassah, Tillya Sheykh Mosque and Kafal Shashi Mausoleum, Chorsu bazaar – the biggest, spice-smelling farmers’ bazaar in Tashkent. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Alisher Navoi Opera & Ballet Theater, Amir Temur Square, and Applied Art Museum. Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for departure flight. ** Registration 2 hours before the flight.
